Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 17, 2026

Mutaform ("we", "us", "our") operates the mutaform.com website (the "Site"). We respect your privacy and keep the Site deliberately quiet: no advertising trackers, no marketing lists, no data we do not actually need. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data the Site collects, how we use it, how long we keep it, and the choices you have. By using the Site or submitting any form on it, you accept this Policy.

1.Introduction

1.1. This Policy applies to personal data collected through the Site and through direct correspondence that starts from it. Personal data means any information relating to an identified or identifiable individual. For the purposes of this Policy, we act as the data controller of the personal data you send us.

1.2. The Site does not require registration and has no user accounts. You can browse every page without telling us who you are.

1.3. The Site contains links to resources we do not operate — for example ArtStation, LinkedIn, or XDS Spark. If you follow such a link, the destination site's own privacy policy applies. We have no control over, and assume no responsibility for, the content or privacy practices of third-party sites.

2.Data we collect

2.1. We collect personal data only when you choose to send it to us through one of the two forms on the Site, or by writing to our email addresses directly.

2.2. Contact form (for studios and publishers): your name, email address, company name, and the message you write about your project.

2.3. Job application form: your name, email address, a link to your portfolio, the role you are applying for, and the message about your experience. Your portfolio may itself contain personal information — we only look at the work.

2.4. Technical data. Like any website, the Site and its hosting infrastructure process basic technical information required to deliver pages and to protect the forms from abuse — such as an IP address, browser type, and request time. We do not use this information to identify visitors and we do not combine it with form submissions. Cookies set by our analytics service are described separately in section 4.

3.How we use data

3.1. Data from the contact form is used for one purpose: to respond to your inquiry and discuss potential work. The legal basis is taking steps toward a contract at your request, and our legitimate interest in answering the people who write to us.

3.2. Data from the job application form is used for one purpose: to review your application and contact you about it. The legal basis is your consent, given by submitting the form.

3.3. We do not:

  • send you marketing email unless you have separately asked us to;
  • build behavioural profiles or make automated decisions about you;
  • sell, rent, or share your personal data for advertising purposes;
  • use your data for any purpose other than the one you sent it for.

4.Cookies and analytics

4.1. We use cookies and similar technologies to operate the Site, keep it secure, and understand in aggregate how it is used — which pages are opened, how long they are read, which source brought a visitor here, the browser and device type, and the approximate region reported to us.

4.2. For this we rely on a third-party web analytics service, which reports this information to us as aggregated, depersonalised statistics. We do not record your session, we do not log what you type, and we do not use any of this to identify you.

4.3. We do not run advertising pixels or remarketing tags, we do not build behavioural profiles of individuals, and we do not sell or share analytics data with advertisers.

4.4. The Site also relies on strictly technical mechanisms necessary for it to function — for example, anti-abuse protection on the forms and delivery of the video showreel. These do not follow you across other websites and are not used for advertising.

4.5. Your browser lets you block or delete cookies entirely; the Site is built to remain usable if you do.

5.Data retention

5.1. Contact inquiries are kept for as long as needed to handle the conversation and any business relationship that follows from it.

5.2. Job applications are kept for up to one year from the date of submission and are then deleted. If you would like your application removed earlier, email us and we will delete it.

5.3. Technical logs are retained for a short period, only as required for security and reliability of the Site.

6.Transfer and disclosure

6.1. Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside of your state, province, country or other governmental jurisdiction, where data-protection laws may differ from those of your jurisdiction. By submitting a form, you consent to that transfer. Wherever your data is processed, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is treated securely and in accordance with this Policy.

6.2. We use a small number of service providers to operate the Site — website hosting and email delivery. They process form submissions only to deliver them to us and are not permitted to use your data for any other purpose.

6.3. We may disclose personal data where required by applicable law or by a valid request of a public authority, or where disclosure is necessary to protect our legal rights, investigate abuse of the Site, or protect the safety of others.

7.Your rights

7.1. You can ask us at any time to:

  • tell you what personal data we hold about you, and give you access to it;
  • correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete;
  • delete your data from our systems;
  • restrict or object to its processing;
  • provide a copy of your data in a structured, commonly used format;
  • withdraw a consent you previously gave, at any time.

7.2. To exercise any of these rights, write to contacts@mutaform.com. We may ask you to verify your identity before acting on a request, and we aim to respond within a reasonable time.

7.3. You also have the right to lodge a complaint about our handling of your personal data with your local data protection authority.

8.Changes and contact

8.1. We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version is always published on this page, and the date at the top reflects the latest revision. Substantial changes take effect when posted here.

8.2. Questions about this Policy or about your data: contacts@mutaform.com.

In short: two forms, one purpose each, one analytics counter and no ad trackers, applications deleted after a year, and a real person reading the inbox.
